  • Strathmore Career & Employment Centre

The Strathmore Career and Employment Centre provides career and employment services at no cost to all Albertans. Serving your needs in Strathmore and surrounding area, this Centre offers a wide range of resources and services to assist any Albertan seeking career and employment supports.

We provide assistance with resume development and cover letters, interview preparation, employment and career counseling, as well as educational options and funding information. We also offer employment workshops and computer training sessions. Our centre also offers a career resource library, job postings by employers from local and surrounding areas, as well as access to computers, printer, scanner, fax, photocopier and telephone. We also provide information regarding community services and events.

McBride offers opportunities for employers as well. Employers are able to host mini "Job Fairs" in our centres, participate in our Annual Career & Employment Expo, and post available positions to our website and advertise these positions in-house. We also offer an "Employer Spotlight" which allows employers to provide information on their organization and provide resource materials to job seekers.

With award winning service and an environment where job seekers are heard and offered support, this centre continues to live up to its reputation.
